ovulation- inner summer

This point in the cycle is marked by peak levels of estrogen and testosterone, which often correspond with increased energy, mood, and libido. As the dominant follicle reaches full maturity, it secretes high levels of estrogen. This rise in estrogen signals the brain to release a surge of luteinizing hormone (LH), which communicates to the ovaries that the follicle is ready to ovulate and release the mature egg it contains.

Why This Helps:

Leafy greens and cruciferous vegetables provide folate, magnesium, and fiber to support cellular function and estrogen clearance, while pineapple and strawberries supply vitamin C and antioxidants to protect the developing egg and support tissue repair. Ground flaxseed contributes lignans and fiber that help modulate estrogen levels, and collagen provides amino acids that support connective tissue, skin, and gut health. Light, hydrating, and nutrient-dense, this combination supports vitality and balance during ovulation.
